This sounds like an intense situation the defendandts created. They are lucky all they got was yelled at and not had licences stripped to practice as therapists anymore.

Put these people in jail already! Absolutely criminal and exploitative behavior at it’s best example. Simply Google either "SLS Health", omh – or – "SLS Residential" Lawsuit or OMH to see what these people have done to so many desperate families. I hope they are made an example of and that this exposure will put other mental health providers on notice. US citizens do not allow torture or abuse of civil liberties and this most vulnerable population has been exploited, even years after leaving the facility, by the people they trusted the most. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Wow. This is a pretty astonishing case to begin with but when you add these therapists actually exploiting the trust of the former patients it just makes me nauseous. If I were the attorney for these guys I would be pretty angry. After reading this I Googled SLS Residential lawsuit and the information on the web is extremely disturbing if it’s true. I’m pretty surprised this hasn’t gained more media attention. It’s like a modern day horror movie.
